Welcome to World of Transmogrification, a blog dedicated to different transmogrification looks within the World of Warcraft. As we learned in the Patch 4.3 Preview article, Transmogrification will allow us to FINALLY customize the look of our armor while keeping the superior stats of whatever gear we can get currently. As someone with a bit of an RP streak, I am in love with this idea and it looks like it is going to be pretty awesome- I've played around a bit on the PTR and while I may not get my dream of running around in the skimpy "Slave Leia" robes from Vanilla WoW (Not because they don't work for transmog, but because crafting a matching set with them is going to be utterly impossible.. they look best sans shoulders/pants/etc), I will definitely be able to come up with something creatively awesome for my main to wear.
And probably for a lot of my alts as well. I'm hoping to make this blog a resource not only for myself but for other people who are looking for off-the-wall transmogrification ideas, or who just like to look at pretty outfits. Does that sound kind of girly? I suppose it does. But what can I say- it's just how I am.
